About the role
ERP and CRM platforms only deliver value when they match how the business really runs. You'll lead implementations that connect finance, sales and operations and that people actually adopt.
The role blends process design, configuration, integration and change management.
Your team
You'll collaborate with integration engineers, data specialists and delivery leads on multi-system projects.
The impact you'll have
One source of truth
Systems that agree with each other and with reality.
Less manual work
Automated hand-offs that give teams hours back every week.
Real adoption
Training and rollout that make the new system stick.
What you'll do
- Lead requirements, configuration and rollout of ERP/CRM platforms
- Design integrations between finance, sales and operations
- Drive adoption through training and change management
- Document processes and hand-off materials
A typical week might include
- Requirements workshop with finance
- Configuring and testing a workflow
- Planning an integration with engineers
- Delivering a training session
Technical scope and expected depth
The areas this role may cover. The exact environment and priorities are agreed for each engagement.
Process discovery
Map end-to-end workflows, approval paths, exceptions, manual reconciliation, and source systems. Validate observations with the people performing the work.
Requirements and configuration
Convert business rules into testable requirements and configuration decisions. Separate necessary variation from customization that increases support cost.
Integration and master data
Define authoritative records, entity ownership, synchronization, validation, error queues, and reconciliation between platforms.
Migration and acceptance
Plan mapping, cleansing, rehearsal, reconciliation, and rollback. Build acceptance criteria that reflect real operational scenarios.
Adoption and enablement
Involve process owners in design, pilot changes, prepare role-specific guidance, and assess whether people can complete their work after rollout.
Operating governance
Establish backlog ownership, platform administration, change approval, reporting definitions, and ongoing improvement routines.
What you'll deliver
Operating model view
A shared map of how work moves, where decisions live, what information is trusted, and where the current system creates friction.
Systems blueprint
Recommendations for platforms, process boundaries, integrations, data ownership, configuration, and sequencing.
Workflow improvement
A focused automation or process change that reduces manual effort without hiding important judgment.
Adoption system
Ownership, enablement, governance, measurement, and feedback loops that help the solution become normal work.
What you bring
- 5+ years implementing Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP or Dynamics
- Strong process-mapping and stakeholder skills
- Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIs)
Practical capabilities we will discuss
- Platform knowledge
- Bring implementation or optimization experience with a major CRM, ERP, service management, or workflow platform. Explain where standard configuration was appropriate and where integration or custom development was justified.
- Data and process controls
- Discuss master data, validation, approvals, segregation of duties, reconciliations, and reporting definitions in the context of a business workflow.
- Implementation discipline
- Explain how you translate process requirements into acceptance criteria, migration checks, test scenarios, pilot plans, and support arrangements.
- Adoption evidence
- Bring an example showing how you involved users, handled exceptions, prepared process owners, and measured whether a system change improved the work after launch.
Nice to have
- Platform certifications
- Low-code / Power Platform
How success is assessed
Success criteria are agreed at the start of the engagement and reviewed as the work progresses. Typical signals include:
- Process owners can explain the future workflow, system boundary, decision rights, and ownership.
- Manual reconciliation, duplicate entry, hidden exceptions, and avoidable handoffs decrease.
- The platform supports real operating behavior instead of forcing teams into workarounds.
- Adoption is measured through behavior and outcomes, not only training completion.
- The organization can make future system decisions from a clearer operating model.

- Join an implementation and learn the client's processes
- Document current-state workflows
- Meet process owners
By day 60
- Own configuration for a module
- Design an integration with engineers
- Run user acceptance sessions
By day 90
- Lead a rollout phase
- Deliver training and hand-off materials
- Report outcomes to sponsors
How we work with clients
- Prepare workshops with a clear decision, relevant evidence, and the people needed to act on the outcome.
- Document assumptions, alternatives, costs, dependencies, and risks so stakeholders can review your recommendation.
- Escalate delivery or quality concerns early with options and a recommended course of action.
- Protect confidential information and use approved collaboration and delivery environments.
- Transfer knowledge through pairing, practical documentation, and walkthroughs with the people taking ownership.
